I understand #7 but I'm curious about #5.
I think I understand #1, but I definitely understand #19.

I think I understand #1, but I definitely understand #19.
LOL!!
#5: We have water restrictions here and are only allowed to water our gardens twice a week - if we do anymore than that, and get caught, we get a serious fine
You can see how #7 would confuse an Aussie though
#11 needs to also put that the au in Australia is sometimes optional as well :)
#19 I put on my toast every morning - it's very good for you
Here is the translation for #12: Daren and Sharon played ACDC on the way to McDonalds
#32 needs to have something about leather seats burning your arse in summer.
#14 and #29 are oh so true :)
#40 applies to me
Oh, btw DPRK, I like your avatar
Cheers!
Yep, it's illegal to use a hose to wash your car. The government has no right to do that.
Some old aussies still say "on ya cobber" when you open a door for them or something.
Our culture hasn't yet been totally wiped by flooding immigration. Have you been to sydney recently? walk down george st (the one with all the movie theaters) it's nothing but chinese as far as the eye can see.
Is Sydney really like that? I actually haven't been to Sydney
I know that over here in Perth, we are very multicultural - the area I live in, there are heaps of Muslims. I don't have anything against them - I just wish that they wouldn't have anything against me and not give me the filthy, dirty looks that they do.
Once thing about Western Australia though, the majority over here have a swearing problem, just about every second word can start with f, c, s, etc.
Melbourne is pretty bad, well, it was the last time I was over that way (about 18 months ago). My mum and I always play "spot the Aussie".
Have a good one!
LOL..
#32 is so true. Damm hot steering wheel.
#35 is so funny, i have to explain to my grandma who KYLIE is sometimes and i end up saying > ''YOU KNOW ? ITS THAT GIRL FROM NEIGHBOURS''..
LOL...
