Wow John Woo's Red Cliff is the 'Asian Titanic'.
Wow! John Woo's 'Red Cliff' is the best Asian film I have ever seen. It's better than any Japanese samurai film. Much better than Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, etc. Man this film is the Asian Titanic. Comparing to Titanic, I still like Titanic better, because I love romance. But I would say this is probably my 2nd favorite film. I like this film better than Star Wars. Wow this film is incredible. Sometimes CHinese people really do surprise me. Wow! Incredible. Incredible. Great music, wonderful special effect, great editing, great costume and staging, wonder scenary. My friend just came back from China and brought me a DVD of this film. Wow truly a master piece. No Japanese film can ever top this. Only another Chinese can top a Chinese film. I read online that this film will be released in US in 2009 Jan.

That movie ain't sh!t comparing to this one. This movie is kind of like Alexander or 300 but so much more interesting because they are Chinese and they fight Kung Fu on battle ground. Not like the boring Alexander movie which nobody watched. Man this movie draws people in like the Titanic. People will tell other people to go watch this film. I think this film will be a huge hit when it hits the theatres in US. I have no doubt in mind.

Wow those Chinese people. They really surprise me. I cannot believe how good they are in film making. Wow! This film is so interesting. As the Han dynasty weakens, nobels from all sides started to retain their own powers and drew soldiers. The emperor of Han became a decoy of his own prime minister because the prime minister controls the Han army. Prime minister wanted to re-unite China and built a 1 million man fleet to conquer the lands in the South. In South, Liu Bei and his people prepared to fight the prime minister on water. They forged a river blockade awaiting for prime minister's 1 million man fleet. So in the film you see lots of wooden ships on the Yang Tze river. You also see lots of land battles. Horses, men, spears, arrows flying, etc. Kung Fu fighting and all 9 yards. Very fun to watch. Computer special effect is top notch.

I like that kind of movie very much. I have seen 10 times or more hidden tiger crouching dragon. I will see this new movie as soon as it arrives.

In the beginning of the Chinese film it says "Lets talk 3 kingdoms. Long after separating shall there be unification. And long after unification there shall be separation. After many young emperors declared the throne, the Han dynasty slowly weakened. Then nobles from 4 sides of the land started to revolt and drafted their own armies. This is where the epic of the 3 kingdoms began. Man this movie is cool as hell! You guys have to watch it.
