Why not just one rather than two magnets on each ring?
Some technical questions: Why the two magnets on each ring - they say "North pole" (really magnetic south pole) should face your body, so why even have the second magnet? Does anyone know why the right ring must have "+" facing up and vice versa for the left ring - does it really matter? Should I keep my hands from touching each other? I usually sleep with my hands folded on my chest. *Gem, just started using the rings

Its not important which side of the magnet faces your frontal part of your body, the important thing is that when you use your rings, your hands need to stick with each other , in this way the polarity for each hands, creates a circuit in the body meridians passing trhough the 4th chackra.

Alex never mentioned any chakras. The reason is probably that the magnets interact to create a spiraling flow, schwa!

So the hands MUST be touching?? Good question, Gem, I was wondering about the contact thing myself.

you don't have to have your hands stuck at all, to chek polarity , just put your hands palm to palm, if they stick, the polarity of the rings is correct. And about chakra, i don't care about what alex says, i know beacuse i can feel the channels going directly into the hearth chackra.

Oh, I thought that you had meant to do so during sessions. I get too mental about the whole process, i.e. whether it makes a difference as to which direction the hands are facing, whether it is better without touching the torso, should foot-braces not be touching, etc.

OK. So, you're saying that is doesn't matter whether I have the "+" side up or down, as long as it is opposite on my other hand. Hmmm, I still don't understand how that reversal does anything, there's alot of things I don't understand. About the heart chakra, I recall reading on Alex's web site something about the pinky fingers having something to do with the heart. Well, I guess I will not have my hands touching just in case, and also I am careful as to where the "+" (magnetic north pole) is facing - I don't want it facing my body (if it is near my body), everyone says not to have magnetic north pole facing your body. Again, alot of people refer to magnetic north pole as "south pole", I didn't realize this until I read Alex's web site and did some internet researching.

Because its like a current going in a sense or in another, it will always light the lamp. Rings increases the flux, which is already present in the body energetic structure , in a sense or in another, the flux will travel to the chackra always. Its not important the direction. The flux is composed of magnetic quanta, they are already present in the universe, rings, only allow the channels called 'nadi' to accept more of these quanta

Very nice explanation. One would think that, for the sake of info collation, there would be a faq attached to this forum, along with a discussion group aptly titled "Faq" (or "Just the faqs, mam"), and dedicated specifically to updating this faq with heretofore unadressed issues. This would spare newbies the daunting task of going through all of the posts for information (including being subjected to ATA1's sick world; Sorry, but it is "truth"). It would be especially appreciated by people for whom English is not a primary language.

why do you spell chakra chackra v71, what have you studied?

v71- 02-16-2008

Maybe i mispelled chackra, its the sanscrit term for vortex.

OK.
Sounds good to me. I don't have a clue but sounds good. I am somewhat familiar with chakras though. Concerning vortexes, I have read a bit of the website about the Rodin coil, and some youtube.com videos, intriguing. I wish I had more science info though, like the magnet aligns the blood vessels, or the flux is carried via and kills germs, or blood vessels carry more oxygen, you know, something like that. I have been reading about just plain magnet therapy though, magnetic south pole usage only, which supposedly helps blood to carry more oxygen, among other things that happen. Not sure where to find more info about using both poles and the flux, as the Immortality Rings do.

I suggest you experiment with as many ring/magnet configurations as you like. Many people here have modified their rings -- so it might be that for you, one magnet with the "wrong" polarity is best.

ivan4iai- 02-20-2008

I don't agree with Kamebazooka, Alex said that if both rings are in the same polarity, you will feel very sick. Experiment all you want but I just thought that you should know this.

kamebazooka- 02-21-2008

obviously, if some ring configuration makes you feel bad, stop using it. if alex claims that you definitely WILL get sick using one magnet, then i will try it myself to see if he is correct. keep in mind that i felt no effect good or bad with alex's original design.
