I know it sounds like a joke, but he really did. He was the head of a company called Ancient Mysteries Corporation and they created time travel. He used it to time travel back to the bible days and meet the prophet Elijah. The prophet Elijah gave him some powers and he used it to create his planet.
It sounds like it absolutely couldn't happen, but it really did. He is never coming back.
