WHERE THE PHELPS AT..
How you going Phelps ? Do you still wear the rings ? Do you still believe in them ? Would you ever try GP+SCF ? ever ??

Dr. Phelps- 08-21-2010

Hey JC! I dont wear the rings and I have never believed in them. I would never try GP and SCF as I dont support giving money to con men. Actually I wouldnt try it even if it was free. Who knows what his suppliers put in there. I would guess he goes with the absolute cheapest place he can find.

Thnx for your response Phelps.. But does not whats been said about the rings working with the body in the topic i posted convince you that ALEX RINGS might just work ?

Dr. Phelps- 08-21-2010

Nope. You cant manipulate blood circulation with a magnet. The iron in blood is not ferromagnetic. Check out this article http://www.revisemri.com/blog/2006/mri-blood-iron-attraction/

uh PHELPS, you know ? Look up, he`s the one that answered my question.

jc- 08-22-2010

DR PHELPS, it is i think uknown yet how magnets effect the body.. i mean if magnets did nothing then how would you explain i got bruises by wearing the magnets the wrong way ? or when i got that back pinch pain where i could not even walk then went away after i wore the magnets the proper way.. another interesting article here which they are to develop a magnetic device to remove bacteria from the blood.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1174000/The-magnet-draws-poison-blood.html

Dr. Phelps- 08-22-2010

In that article it says they are injecting magnetic beads that attach to the bacteria. So there is nothing going on there that violates what we understand of how magnets work. Its possible, in the same way that anything is possible, that magnets could have some affect on the body that we dont understand. But its absolutely not possible that magnets are increasing circulation because they are pushing the iron in blood. A magnets interaction with iron and that it doesnt affect the small amount in the blood is well understood. There is no mystery there. As for you being affected negatively by the magnets, I just dont believe thats the case. By just believing something in your mind it can radically alter body processes such as muscle tension and pain perception. I have put the rings on backwards and it didnt do anything. Other people here even said they put them on backwards sometimes and it made them feel better. If there really was some interaction going on with the magnets and your body it would be repeatable not only in yourself but in others. This is not the case here. I have never understood why a few people genuine about improving their health have chosen to spend so much of their time on this product. I think most of the people acknowledge that alex is an an idiot they just keep hoping that he happened to come upon this by a miracle of God or something. In the alternative health field there are a lot of great things for your health and a lot of scams. When things are fairly new sometimes you have to just take the risk and give it a try if you are interested in its claims. But if you are wanting to be cutting edge like that you have to know when to let go when something isnt working out or proves to be a fraud. You know this isnt making people live forever. You know GP and SCF dont make you pretty. Its all been lies. Instead of trying to block out Alex`s lies and deceit and coming up with your own way to justify the products existence , just let go and move on would be my advice.

jc- 08-23-2010

Hmm, agree and disagree.. well, i dont try to make up excuses that the rings/ magnets work to make ALEX the BIG INVENTOR of all time., i just tell you what i see, the results i have with magnets.. The results i have are not made up by the mind, the unexplained bruises can be the proof of this - don`t you think ? Yes i agree when a new product/ CLAIM comes out you cant help but be curious and most likely try it out, with ALEX rings - i did not try them because ALEX said so, i read magnets have been used a long time to improve health etc, so yeah, why not.. GP+SCF, no, im not going to try it, i have seen no MIRACLE transformation as yet.. FRANCO is also confused by it, IT WORKS, IT DOESN`T WORK, no CHANGES, CHANGES etc.. Again, MAGNETS are not exactly known 100% how they help the body as there is no MAGNETIC EFFECT in the blood but i do get the effects when i wear them properly or unproper, this is enough for me to BELIEVE in them yet..

Dr. Phelps- 08-23-2010

I dont know about your bruises. I have had unexplained bruises appear on my body before. I didnt try to attribute it to any supplement I was taking. Its just one of those things that happens sometimes. The thing here is your experience with wearing them properly or improperly is exactly as Alex Chiu has said it should be. The problem with that is the origin story of how he discovered this and found it out is completely ridiculous. And it is not reliably repeatable. If I gave a group of people bottles of water and told them it had been fortified with an herb or mineral or whatever that improves health many of them would report improved health in some way even if there was nothing at all in the water. The point of that story is that you cant go by personal experience alone to judge the effectiveness of a product. Whether you have some sort of feeling after taking a product is irrelevant. That is easy to influence whether the product actually does anything or not. You need verifiable and repeatable results over a wide group of people. As for magnets helping the body, they actually can! Pulsed magnetic fields have been shown to increase nerve and bone growth. A static field, like the one produced by the rings, has never been shown to do anything other than make the magnetic therapy industry a lot of money.

jc- 08-24-2010

AH yes, pretty much i agree ALEX has not come up with the most impressive immortality explanation for the rings.. Now, however i have experienced REPEAT results (unexplained bruises) wearing the rings improperly.. Sure you cannot go with my proof alone, there needs to be a whole lot more same effects - to CALL it PROOF.. When i wore the rings improperly - i was not expecting improper effects to happen, quite the opposite, i was expecting to be better but instead i got bruises on my forearm, this tells me that it is unlikely a PLACEBO EFFECT.. If you gave me a bottled water claiming it cured muscle pain and then after drinking it > it did cure muscles pain then i guess you can say its a placebo.. But in this case i am still convinced the magnets effect the body in some way that really can be seen as a non placebo effect due to ''not'' expecting the magnets doing what they are suppose to do. I gave a friend the magnetic rings to wear not telling him what to expect- except that acne will go away and he would look younger day by day.. My friend experienced FAST HEART BEAT the first night he wore them, and tingling feeling in his hands, now i did not tell him he would feel this way at all.. IS THIS PLACEBO ?

Dr. Phelps- 08-24-2010

Heart rate is one of the easiest things to manipulate from slight psychological changes. Tingling is fairly common and its especially placebo like in his case since it happened on the area he was wearing the rings. And if the rings were causing the bruises why would they just appear on your forearm? If by some as of yet unknown means these magnets could cause blood vessels to burst why would it be isolated to your forearms? It doesnt make sense even if a static magnetic field has that capability. Seems more likey that some blunt trauma, whether you were aware of it or not, caused it.

jc- 08-25-2010

Well, its like this.. - why would my friend fell the tingling feel in his hands only after wearing the rings ? Why did i and others have the fast heartbeat effect after wearing the rings ? Why would i have the unexplained bruises only after wearing the rings improperly ? i dont think you can call these PLACEBO, i still believe the magnets did those effects, we cannot explain exactly how but i know the magnets did those effects, you just dont get fast heartbeat because our body decided to have fast heartbeat - we had fast heartbeat after wearing the rings full stop... My friend got fast heart beat after wearing the rings for the first time without me telling him what he should expect, so it is not a ''NORMAL'' thing to just have fast heart beat.. You said many had to experience the same thing in order to CLAIM it a PROOF, so far we had many who experienced the same thing wearing the rings for the first time.., this does not strike you as a MAYBE THE RINGS/ MAGNETS do work ?

Dr. Phelps- 08-25-2010

His hands would tingle because he has these new magical healing rings on them. Thats where his main focus would be. Ive participated in exercises where you shift your awareness around your body and produce tingling in various area. These simple to produce psychological effects just arent proof of ANYTHING. Some peoples heart rate would increase faster because overall increased body awareness, which can happen when you are trying some new health supplement, can cause that sort of thing There is a popular term in science that a lot of people here could really benefit from getting familiar with. its "Correlation does not imply causation". It would be helpful to understand the logic behind it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Correlation_does_not_imply_causation Now you might say.... but sometimes it might actually be true! But generally, the more absurd it sounds and the more it goes against the current understanding of the universe that we have then the more you should tend to either go with the simpler obvious explanation or set out to prove your new idea. Magnet research isnt some new field. They have tried and tried and tried to link to a static magnetic field changing the body somehow. The magnetic therapy industry would be trumpeting any credible scientific proof from the rooftops but it never happened.
