I just saw the movie Avatar and I can't figure something out. Does the movie Avatar have anything to do with the series, "Avatar: The Last Airbender"? If not, what is a damn Avatar in this movie? I don't understand.

Avatar was impressive as a 3d tech demo, but the movie was very disappointing, the sotry was typical, return to nature , same old stuff with a new polished appearence, i was expecting much more from cameron
