Clint you really do have an unhealthy obsession with Christianity. You dwell on it an enormous amount for someone who claims to dislike it. You had some bad experiences with Christian. So what? Grow up and get over it. Given the low church attendance vs. how many people claim to be Christian nothing you really said holds up. I grew up Christian and I never saw anyone displaying these superstitions you mention. In fact, the Bible tells Christians to speak out against other Christians if they arent acting biblically. The real problem here is we have people like ATA0 who throws Christianity in our faces and threatens us to follow his beliefs or burn in hell for all eternity. I'm not going to bash Christians or any religion for that matter... You could worship a dog for all I care, but it's when you tell people that if you don't follow what I say; you're going to die a miserable death and suffer for all eternity that it becomes a serious problem... You don't see Jewish people trying to convert anyone do you? It's always the Christians and that's a statistical fact. You, Dr. Phelps; need to get on the ball and start putting ATA0 on a leash... I'm not saying downright censorship, but how can you let him make threats against other users and sit by and do nothing? His actions are no worst than Racism. He's offending the majority of this board (I can't even think of one person on here in support of him) and he needs to quit with the religious threats.

Clint you really do have an unhealthy obsession with Christianity. You dwell on it an enormous amount for someone who claims to dislike it. Only when someone else starts preaching to me. You had some bad experiences with Christian. So what? Grow up and get over it. Never really had a bad experience with a christian until Ato came along and started condeming people. Given the low church attendance vs. how many people claim to be Christian nothing you really said holds up. I'm not talking about noromal christians but the hard core bible buffs that are so obsessed with the sect that they try to buy their way into heaven by putting down everyone else. I grew up Christian and I never saw anyone displaying these superstitions you mention. Guilt is one of those superstitions. In fact, the Bible tells Christians to speak out against other Christians if they arent acting biblically. I know they're also afraid of hurting another christians feelings and causing them to leave the church. I don't particularly have any issues with christians but it gives me something to post on the board when nothing much is happening.

I have to agree with Clint - I don't mind if people are religous as long as they respect my wishes and not shove it down my throat all day, every day. I've met good christains and bad christains over the years. I was once engaged to a guy whose whole family were ultra-religous, except for him - he was the black sheep of the family. Everything would have been fine between us if his family had of just backed off a bit. They knew that I wasn't religous in any way back then, yet they tried to force it upon me. In the end, I had to break up with him because the pressure got to me - it totally broke his heart, but he understood why. It broke my heart too, but you get that. That was when I moved to West Oz, about 3600km away from him so that he could move on a bit better (we lived in the same town in Victoria). The bad ones that I have met have been total and utter wankers/hipocrites - they are always the hard-core ones :x

Clint hates eunichs.

I don't hate eunichs.

Are eunichs the ones with no "family jewels"?

Dr. Phelps- 10-01-2006

Never really had a bad experience with a christian until Ato came along and started condeming people. Clint I thought you said your mother was a fanatical Christian and that is what turned you psycho against Christianity.

Are eunichs the ones with no "family jewels"? I'm not sure if everything is removed though(ouch!). Clint I thought you said your mother was a fanatical Christian and that is what turned you psycho against Christianity. Oh yeah, I forgot about that but she did use heaven and hell as a means of controlling me when I was a child. She didn't live the life of a fanatical christian though. She was more fanatical about controlling people. It seems that a lot of them are just control freaks.

Generally you count as a eunich if you can no longer impregnate someone. Classically, this meant removal of the testicles but I think vasectomies would count too. It's different from being Castrato, meaning both balls and penis are removed. The catholic church did this to some choir boys so their voices would not break when they got older. I feel for these dudes.
