he didn't say how long he used them for. He looks old and fat so it's odds on the rings could have done him some good if he gave it time. if he feels ripped off, why didn't at least try to return them? If Alex didn't give him his money back, he could have mentioned that as well if he was so concerned about people getting ripped off
