Tomes of Madness
I was wondering if anyone has heard of a group of books often referned to as the Tomes of Madness that include The Necronomicon, The R'Leyh Text, the Stanzas of Dzyan, The King in Yellow, And The Cthulu Mythos. Or if anyone has anything else like this.

They are fake ancient books, written by channeling by spiritualists in 19th century.

yeah I heard of necronomicon and the cthulu mythos that's because of metallica and dream theater though.

I read the necronomicon before. I highly recommend it to anyone trying to get into witchcraft.

isn't that a book of the undead or something like that.I think someone from black sabbath had one it was an old one though with some skin on it and he woke and saw a black figure just standing next to his bed.

I have done the Cthulu mythos with friends and I have read the necronimcon and was thinking about reading all of the other books up there. If anyone gets around to reading them and wants to post their experiences it would be most appreciated. I too will post my experiences as I read the books.
