The law of karma rewards those according to the weight of the balance.
Read the story of king Midas, he had the power to change anything into gold, but this was his undoing. I myself have manifested unbelievable magick which took a corporeal form, but this was an abuse, and I will not abuse of it anymore.
With power comes responsibility, thats why things such as magick were usually kept a secret reserved for priests. There are white magicians, and there are the profane.
Cultivating optomism, focusing and paying attention to good things for the sake of the law of attraction is good, and magick has it's place but not without consent of God.

It is a wonderful thing, to understand the nature of magick, to understand the transcendental nature of mind and mysticism. It is excellent to be blessed in one's life as well, but this must be tempered with an even greater understanding.
Matthew 16:26

Indeed it is your birthright, but material wealth seriously pales in comparison to obtaining salvation, and evolving through the hierarchy of heaven. But to do the latter, the sacrifice and loss of material happiness is necessary and/or beneficial to the greater goal. Karma and the ego are not dissolved on their own. Sin will not vanish by wishing it away but through effort, knowledge, faith (trust arriving from experience), belief, and patience.
A man who has a terrible life, but acquires the wisdom of Gnosis is far wealthier than the superficial man who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and stayed that way. (take the Buddha Gautama Shakyamuni for example)
