if he offered everything I could want, that would include the right to not have to give him anything in return.
yes ofcourse satan is not bad you know just another nature of God..
this proves that THEATAO is on drugs.. wow what are you smoking maybe SCF pipe
maybe Satan gave the Rings to alex, so that we will be imprisoned forever in a physical body
So, satisfied in our gorgeous healthy immortality we won't think about God anymore?
THEATAO---You dont make sense at all..
If Satan offered you everything you could ever want, would you follow Satan?
If a satan offered me everything I want, he would no longer be a satan to me which means adversary. Satan is not a name, only a title that means enemy. However I must point out that Ato is a saten to me because he is an adversary. Yes, if Ato offered me everything I want, I would follow him in a heart beat but I'm more into the lady devils of the world(just so you'd know).
Clint902,
You have a good concrete point about satan, honestly to me he is more of a personal ego..
TheATAO--this one is for you
Satan is supposed to be the the personification of evil. Traditionally,
even in an occult sense, he exists--but whether he was Lucifer or not it is a fact that the collective minds of men can create semi-living beings in the inner planes simply by constant visualizing, focus, and belief. All of our problems does not really stem from Satan. Men needed a scapegoat for their shortcomings, so they invented the scaegoat. The real question is why evil exist at all, and why does not God abolish it? You see, if God could get rid of evil he would--he is unable to do it because it is part of his being. Good and Evil are part of the relative worlds and are illusions. God does not perceive evil because he is All, thus he would not even destroy Satan or Lucifer. In the book of Job, the devil is also allowed to visit and converse with God. It would seem in this story that Satan
is one of God's minister. Without evil there would be no progress or
evolution. It is the overcoming of evil that evolves us. Good and evil are two sides of a coin--one cannot exist without the other. In one sense evil does not exist because everything is relative--what is evil to one may be good to another, and vice versa. Thus the personifications of good and evil, Satan and the Archangel Michael, are simply shaking their hands and are just doing their job. The problem is quite complex--or simple, depending on our perspective.
do you mind showing the verses in the bible that says SATAN is real
Those verses does not prove to me that satan is real.. Who created satan, why was he created ???
TheAtao,
you are not making any sense at all.. how could an angel so holy and pure in heaven become corrupt.. Heaven is perfect , it is holy.. how can dark come from light.. i am sure you can do better than that i am not your sunday school student..
shouldn't god have seen that coming? he's supposedly omniscient and omnipotent, right?
cereal--i told THEATAO already the secret but he doee not want to accept it.. If God is all then satan is part of his being.. simple as 1.2.3.. but ordinary christians dont want to face it..
TheATAO,,
So God dumped satan to this world to soil his creation adam and eve right??? you truly crack me up, let us look at this tree of knowledge and tree of life for a min..
According to the bible- genesis 3:22-24 22 And the LORD God said,
"The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He
must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the
tree of life and eat, and live forever."
Before this God simply said not to eat the tree of knowledge--why
was he not concerned then that man would somehow come across the
tree of life. The secret is that man would not be able to find the
tree of life without first eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge. You see, eating the tree of life would immortalize all that he is. If man is imperfect as he is now, all of his imperfections would be immortalized--this would be a danger to the universe as a whole.
23 So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the
ground from which he had been taken. 24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side<5> of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
Almost the whole story of Genesis is symbolic. Being allegorical and
symbolic it may have several levels of interpretations all equally valid. Just as a side-note : Knowledge is acquired from our five senses--through the central nervous system. The essence of life flows to our bloodstream and organs through the sympathetic nervous system. Do you see the correspondence? The tree of knowledge--central nervous system; tree of life--sympathetic or autonomic nervous system?
