in 2012 the whole world will be as one, working together instead of creating war against each other.. IT IS THE NEW WORLD. That certainly does not match the history of the world. The bible warns that the people of the world will unite under a global government system with the anti christ at the helm. It may seem good for awhile, but not for long and the people will be headed for eternal destruction.

what do you mean by global government system? there has been 'global government' for at least 500 years, if you count trading/military groups as a government. They may not rule every country directly, but you cannot deny they have global influence, as much influence as any local government. this is why I suspect alex's world corporation plan is flawed -- there already exist world corporations of sorts, and they do not successfully make peace everywhere.
