Taiwan governing party passes Normal Country resolution

They know that no other US president except Bush is stupid enough to engage in a war with China over Taiwan. Taiwanese fear that China could invade Taiwan after Bush steps down from office. So they want to pick a fight NOW!!!! WW3 is nearer than you think!!!!! If US defends Taiwan, it will be a head on collision with China. Because China considers Taiwan a part of China. If US soldiers dares to set foot on Taiwan, China will consider that a US invasion. This war is unlike the Korean or Vietman war. Because Taiwan is the property of China. If US dares to enter Taiwan, China will fight US to the death.

Alex, you must know more about this than me, but what you're saying doesn't mean anything unless you give specifics. WHEN - will US have war with China. 1 week? 1 month? 1 year? Alex, I will make a prediction myself -- it is pretty specific so I can easily be proven right or wrong -- here it is: For the upcoming olympics in China, there will be at least one athlete found to be using steroids or some illegal performance enhancing drug. By your prediciton of upcoming WW3, will there even be olympics in China?

Oh yeah! Im sorry. I mean Jan of 2009, when bush leaves office. Taiwan needs to pick a fight before Bush leaves. Right now, the condition between China and Taiwan is so bad that Taiwanese fear that China could launch an attack right after Bush leaves. So it's a smart thing to declare independence while Bush is still around. Taiwanese are trying very hard right now. All Chinese know that war is near. I don't know why Americans have no knowledge of it.
