sleep v. meditate
Has anyone compared taking spf/gp and then sleeping v taking spf/gp and then lying down/meditating without sleeping? I used to think it wasn't a big deal, but lately I've been doing healing sessions while still awake, man do I feel it. Thoughts?

How the heck do you delete posts that you accidentally click the "Submit" button instead of the "Preview" button ??? How irritating this is ! I wanted to preview what I typed but hit "Submit" instead when I wasn't done yet ! I have yet to see a "Delete post" button or anything...... Oh well......so sorry for the extra response

I'm still having problems with this one because I've never meditated, so I don't really know how to actually do it. I've read it's merely "clearing the mind" of all thought, but I'll be darned if I can get myself to do this ! Though, it's never really what you would call "quiet" around here at night either, so that might be why. I live on a rural road and though it's not traveled as much as the main drag, we still get a fair amount of traffic on this little, narrow, piece of highway......especially now with school being out for the summer and all the maniac kids driving around all hours of the night with their music blaring and always shouting and hollering when they drive by......most likely, drunk out of their minds. We've actually had a vehicle stop almost in front of our house and heard some girl yelling at her man and him yelling at her to "get back in the G*ddamn CAR !" (they both sounded extremely plastered !). All in all, I don't really think I know how to "shut out the world" when I lay down at night and then the end result is I fall asleep having never experienced what it's like to be absolutely, completely calm & free of thought. I am curious as well, to hear what others have to say on this subject. Maybe I can learn something about it and be able to apply it :) Thanks for posing this very interesting question, Eric ! Tami

I've read it's merely "clearing the mind" of all thought I think "meditate" might not be quite the right word. According to the instructions, you're supposed to be lying down and not to be doing any type of activity like watching tv or reading. I suppose you can try to clear head, chant a mantra or whatever but you don't have to and I don't think it has to be a formal meditation.
