Depression is caused by guilt, your living an ungodly life and that is causing depression. Depression is not caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain, the imbalance is caused by doing something that is wrong which in turn causes the chemical imbalance. Taking anti depression pills may cure the imbalance but does not cure the cause.
To cure depression, you must repent and have your sins forgiven by Jesus Christ, that will cure the imbalances.
There is such a thing as religious obsessive-compulsive disorder, and you suffer from it;
in addition to following a wrong idolatrous faith.
