"growing up" has been devalued to the point that being an adult is a liability in the new pop culture. This is because life for adults is harder than it was a few decades ago when there were more decent jobs rather than shit service industry minimum wage or minimum wage + $2-3 "management" positions. Now it's much more hip to be a high school age or college age person mooching off your parents. Sick world. Anyway what I'm saying is that people want to look young more than ever because there is no strength cohesiveness in the adult community. It's every person for them self and you better have your health. The older and weaker you are the more vulnerable.
