remove oxidation
I just noticed today that on my neo foot braces there's a pretty good layer of crud on it which I assume is oxidation. What's the best way to remove it without damaging the magnet? Thanks

The best way is to use a cotton tip with alcohool. I talk about this in the page of my site which I mentioned in one of my last posts. But notice that the oxidation won't completely disappear. The best is to replace the devices after every few years. All the best, Marco

How do you insulate?

I'm currently using teflon tape (the kind used to seal PVC tubes). I did this for self-made rings, not sure how doable is this with Alex's rings. Tried other coatings, but nothing else (except probably aluminium) was 100% humidity proof. If there is any oxidation you will notice as the coating will inflate with hydrogen as the magnet corrodes.
