This assumes that an IQ test is an accurate measure of intelligence. It also assumes that race and not other factors is the driving force. I'd be curious to see how the results correlate with socio-economic background. Are sub-Saharan Africans scoring poorly because they are less intelligent or because their living conditions are worse? Prof Lynn states that countries with a low IQ also have a low GDP. Africa has one of the lowest IQ's and it's GDP is also very low as well. Well yes I guess the intelligence tests do vary. Your "rainforest iq test" is pretty stupid, it doesn't take much brains to identify certain berries and pull bark off a tree to find insects or whatever they eat. Your argument holds no water, really if someone is only mentally capable of foraging in the tundra compared to someone who can build a rocket ship, giving the person a "rainforest iq" test with pictures of bugs which they either tick or cross which ones are edible or not would not measure intelligence in anyway, infact many animals with pea sized brains live, thrive and multiply and spread throughout the rainforest, whereas these rainforest tribes have isolated settlements and thinly sparse, even on their home soil, they are not doing very good.

First of all the ethnobotanical knowledge of these people is far beyond what you are indicating. Extremely complex. Second of all the "building of rocket ships" and this like that is predicated upon a knowledge base of many years contained within a culture. Third of all if you take any of these people and take them as infants and raise them in the culture of the people with the highest measurable IQs they will excel in the same manner as those people. Third of all any valid measure of any genetically mediated intelligence differences would need to be measured in the second generation to blind out any environmental and nutritional factors. Lastly the way humans think. meaning their gifts and deficiencies is relative to the situation. To the environment. The same people that build the rockets and develop technology in this culture are the same ones that have destroyed the earth. If people were that smart they would live in small numbers in a subsistence and agrarian society just as the "simples" do. So it is all relative. Intelligence is relative to what you want to call intelligence.
