i have a history of diabetes in my family so i dont think that would be appropriate for me. all the sugar in fruit will sky rocket blood sugar levels causing your body to produce to much insulin making your body resistant to insulin enevitably causing type 2 diabetes. i admire you for having the will power to do such a diet. i also dont eat much meat only fish and chicken i havent had beef, pork, or any wild game in over thirty years. but i dont think that i could do without pasta and potatoes at least twice a week. i do eat alot of salads though i love salad i think that i could almost live on it. anyway thanks for the suggestion.
Actually raw diet sustainers adfirm that milk and cheese and bread cause diabetes. Theoretically if you eat only raw food your diabete should disappear.
My father loved dunkin donuts and he did have diabetes. He had type 2 diabetes. I changed his diet from drinking alot of water and eating vegetarian and his sugar level went down.

I dont eat too much pasta, and i dont like potatoes, but eating brown rice will help.
I think too many people take medication that the doctor gives for any help problems, and many people dont think that by changing the diet, they can change and better their health.
Yes many people just RELY on doctors and the medications they tell them to take, little do people know that by changing their diets they can have pretty good health.. PASTA is always good but not too much then again too much of anything will not be good. :wink:
