Sure, everyone knew in advance that there was going to be a terrorist attack-- on Sept. 12. They just never wrote it down, told anyone, or recorded it in any way. But they knew. Don't even doubt it for a second.

as much as i truly believe Bush and his administration to be both stupid and ignorant to the point of wickedness, I can't believe anyone would think that the gov't could actually execute this without falling on their faces. Are you fucking kidding me? No one on this planet-- much less in the government-- could have kept their damn mouth shut long enough to execute a plan of this magnitude. As for the idea that "the government knew and didn't do anything", well, yeah, that's easy to say in retrospect-- especially as an armchair conspiracy theorist who is getting all the information filtered throught the lunatic accusations of crackpot America. The fact is that the CIA gets a fucking shitload of information every day. It's impossible for them to know which will happen and which won't, and frankly, they don't have the resources to check out every fucking thing that comes on their radar. It's easy now to say that they had a ton of evidence that something was going to happen on Sept 11, but they probably had a shitload of information that something was going to happen yesterday too-- and even though nothing happened yesterday, if something HAD happened, all the nutcases would be up in arms claiming that the CIA had all the evidence right there. :roll: You can make the argument that the government was incompetent. That *may* be so. You could argue that they were aware that something was going to happen. That *might* be so. But to argue that they knew exactly what was going to happen, and they deliberately did nothing is patently ridiculous to the point of being utterly idiotic.

Why is it that when Franklin D. Roosevelt supposedly knew that there would be a terrorist attack he received no conspiracy theories, but people tell all kinds of conspiracy theories about Bush knowing that 9/11 would happen?

Allegedly there were 4 passenger aircraft, but in fact most people have seen just 1. All those planes hitting from different angles on TV show just 1 plane (South Tower). As this was shown a million times from different sides, some people are under the false impression that the footage contained more than 1 jetliner
