Hi! I have been wearing the Immortality Rings for a few months now and I have noticed lots of changes already. In the other forum I posted about having trouble keeping the rings on - thank you to those who replied. I will get to and post some photo's soon. It's just that I'm so busy doing my mummy duties during the day - two children under 3 years (2 and 5 months) - and I work part-time as well. Busy, busy, busy! I used to have a big problem with static electricity. Touching anything metal, like tin cans on the supermarket shelf, would give me a zap. It was getting to the stage where even touching my partner or my children, I would zap them and get a big jolt myself. People used to look at me funny when I went grocery shopping because I was getting zapped that much and that hard that I couldn't help but go "Ouch!" and jump a little bit. I used to experience these "zaps" at least 15 times a day, easily. Even when I was younger, this was so. After wearing the rings for a few months, I am no longer having a problem with static electricity. My partner isn't scared to hug me anymore and the cat no longer runs away when I go to pat her :D My eldest son was born via an emerg c/section 2 years ago. My god, did the Ob make a mess of things. Because of his negligence, I ended up with a stuture line that was 31 cms in length - hip to hip. When my eldest was 8 days old, the stuture line got infected and yucky - a course of antiobiotics cleared the infection away. I have a good body that loves to heal anyway. When I started wearing the rings, my stuture line was 15 cms in length - the first cut that the surgeon had done was healed but the second, bigger cut was still very bubbly, sore, red, and the abdominal muscle was pulled in very tightly from where the stuture line was ended (the muscle also bulged out above the stuture line). Well, after wearing the rings, my stuture line is a lot less red and doesn't hurt as much. The skin around the stuture line is finally getting some feeling back - before wearing the rings, I couldn't even touch the skin around it because it stung/hurt too much. The abdominal muscle that the stuture line goes through is starting to come back to me (meaning that I can flex the muscle slightly) and isn't bulging as much. Now, you are probably thinking "But that would have happened anyway, you would have healed from the c/section anyway." Not so. The type of emergency c/section that I had was one of the worst types that the midwives had seen in a long time. My son had presented his face and his forehead had slammed into my cervix (OUCH!). What made it even worse was that my Ob told the surgeon that my son was breach (feet first). So, the surgeon made a nice, small cut for a breach only to find that there was a head there instead of feet. A second, bigger cut was made and the surgeon had to put his hands around my son's shoulder's and pull him out (cause he was suctioned in there). The midwives expected me to be bed-ridden for at least 48 hours, but I was up and about within 24 hours. The other thing that I have noticed after wearing the rings for a few months is that my sternum (chest) isn't as dipped in anymore. As a teenager, I was tall and slouched alot. As a result, my sternum dips in, putting pressure on my heart when I get really, really, REALLY stress out. At night when I put the rings on, I get a pain in my sternum (Because of my medical history, I know the difference between skeltal and muscular pain). As I mentioned earlier, I will get to and post some photo's soon. My partner, who also wears a pair of Immortality Rings, is stoked with them. He hurt himself at work last week - he was sawing a screw with a hacksaw and, somehow, managed to saw nearly half way through his finger. He refused to go to hospital and bandaged it instead. Last night I had a good look at it and it's healed up really well. Pitty I didn't take photo's (Mummy brain kicking in, LOL!). But, as I said to my partner, next time. Cause, knowing him, he will hurt himself again at work. My goodness, I can ramble on a bit. Thanks for reading, Mummify
