It's sad that a human being dies, I never thought much of his music, he hasn't spread any truth or helped anyone as far as I know, yes he's made alot of money and I don't believe what people claim that "they helped people through their music". Please explain why you chose Pavarotti JC? Why didn't you acknowledge Aaron Russo? He died last week, he made the movie called "Freedom to Fascism" he was an avid freedom lover and all round good guy. What I am saying is people here are blind, they mistake beauty for truth, popularity for intelligence. The people here are enthralled by crappy music out there, alot of the female singers out there today have very nice voices but what they sing about is wrong. It reminds me of the sirens call, sailors would hear and see beautiful women and music and become captivated and the sirens when the men came closer they kill them. I think this is what is happening in the music, pretty voices are luring men astray by thinking that it's appropriate to listen to music like this and that it's ok for these women to sing songs like this. It is wrong and disgusting.

ATA1, I think I speak on behalf of many here. SHUT UP. What is with all this christian postings after every entry. You sound to me to be one of the most bitter Judgemental people ever. He had a gift is that not from God? Some people are helped by the meir joy of a gift they don't personally posess themselves. Wether you appreciated his music or not what a cold thing to say.

It's so sad. I was reading an article at the beginning of the week about him not being very well, then the next day I read that he had died  While not being a big opera fan myself, I did like Pavarotti - hearing him sing would give me goose-bumps, his voice was so great, so moving. Such a pity........
