Obama draws 75,000+ to Oregon rally
Fire officials estimated 65,000 packed into a riverside park for a spectacular afternoon rally at a sun-splashed scene on the banks of the Willamette River in Portland. They said an additional 15,000 were left outside and dozens of boaters could be seen floating in the river. "Wow, wow, wow," Obama said as he surveyed the audience. "We have had a lot of rallies. This is the most spectacular setting, the most spectacular crowd we have had this entire campaign." The sea of heads stretches for half a mile along the grassy embankment, while others watch from kayaks and power boats bobbing on the Willamette River. More hug the rails of the steel bridge that stretches across the water and crowds are even watching from jetties on the opposite shore. Let's see McCain try to pull something like that off.

Ron Paul has done it.

Actually, the most Ron Paul received was 1,000-1,200 (and that was at the Boston Tea Party Freedom Rally). For comparison, Super Bowl XLII was hosted at University of Phoenix Stadium which can seat a maximum of 73,719 people. This would mean that yesterday's rally had more people attending than last year's Super Bowl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbJR6ylt0Y8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAYBOL_O4ps http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsKQOFAbcW0
