A customer told me he's from the future

Today, a man called asking about the rings. He then said "Alex, you dont need to convince me. Because, please dont laugh, I am from the future. I know about the rings already, and of course they work."
Then he kept saying "Don't laugh. Dont laugh"
He sounded absolutely serious. I really do want to ask him what the future is like. How did he get back to this time?
