I bought a VI-2500 many years ago. I dont know about all the feel good effects but it does keep the air fairly clean as far as I can tell. Very high negative ion output for the price.

I always felt depressed in July. And in these later years I started feeling exasperated. I figured out why. The air is different this time of year because people use air conditioning. Air conditioners rape the air of electrons, so the air becomes fully useless if you are indoors. So I have to use my negative ion generator or I'll get to where I am exhausted all the time. I remember as a teenager I wouldn't want to go see fireworks or do anything really in the summer. I stayed indoors, but that actually made it worse because of the lack of electrons indoors. Air quality makes all the difference in your mood.
