My refund for scientology PART 2
Well folks, again 3 days in a row karl gave me the runaround. Today I asked him if he asked the financial department about my refund. He said ''awww, yah i didn't get a chance too. But at the event tonight I will have you speak with the lady in charge of treasury, in person one on one'' And then at the event we could not find her. He kept saying, don't worry I will find her and then find you. but to no result, I could not find him the rest of the night. Karl wants me there for 6 hours doing course tomorrow and he now wants me there 7 days a week. The guy is crazy. f*ck it im gonna find the treasury department myself tomorrow and get my refund. After that, I'm going to quit. I will miss sarah though. she's a pretty pretty girl.

this process is so slow it is friken crazy. back in may i kept calling ryan to ask if i can take the course. I called every single day for 1 month and he had said he was very busy. I already payed for the course so i wanted to take it. And then he said, there is a very good chance i am qualified. and then a month later he said im not qualified. and then he sent me to karls room to do the basics first. I now for a month have been asking karl about the refund. at first he said YES, absolutely. we don't want your money. and then he said, you have to speak to ryan about it. and then ryan said, you can't get a refund, you can only get a recredit. And then he said you have to speak to karl. and karl kept saying yes i can. and then he said, a refund is not the same as get your money back, and then i said he lied and got mad. then he said in MY case i can get my money back but he needs to find the policy book. took him a week to find the book, then he said I indeed can get my cash back. He said we can do it right now. and then he said he needs to talk to the treasury dept about it. then he said he wasn't able to get a hold of them. then today he said he will just find them. and i couldn't find him the whole day.

and along the way all the girls kept encouraging me not to get a refund. they said it's a no no and i should just hang in there and finish the courses and take it one day.

Dude, get ahold of your credit card company already. Why are you letting these guys jerk you around? They're just going to give excuse after excuse.

whats easier though calling your credit card company, or waiting for a couple months nagging somebody to give your money back.

Exactly. The process would just go so much smoother if you go through your credit card company. But, I have a feeling you still want to go to this church, and you're not wanting to "do them wrong". But they're screwing you. The CoS is not a good orginization. Did you watch that documentary I posted?

well, what else do you recommend for mental healing? and no i will not go on meds and deal with psychiatrist, i have a rough history of that. medidation and hypnosis is not that simple. do you recommend any specific system?

You can see someone and tell them you don't on medication. I don't know what all options are out there. But I can tell you, Scientology is not the way to go. They don't care about you, no matter what they say. They don't care about anybody. They care about what's in the checking account. There are many other options out there, you just have to find them. Maybe find some other religion. There are other churches out there that will give support and try to help you.

I can tell you, Scientology will not cure all your problems. I know if they have people that can steer you in the right direction, somebody else can too. They may have mental health professionals working in the church. But, because the professionals know what they're talking about with those issues, doesn't mean Scientology is the way to go. You can get the same help from somebody else that won't try to drain you of your life savings or max out your credit card. If you continue to stay with the church, it's just going to create new problems for you. Maybe not RIGHT now, but later on. Scientology has ruined many people's lives.

Well, today i found Karl. He said he finally found the treasury department and they don't have my case folder. He said the one to talk to is Ryan, the ethics officer. But today he is busy cuz his sister is getting married. On thursday, when i go back i will definitely get a refund.

Bullshit. It's obvious you're not going to go through your credit card company. You might as well get comfortable with the fact that you will never see that money again.

I agree, and no one ever gets rid of all their problems, that is just life, you need to learn how to deal or fix them as you go.
