My "psychic power" has increased after G.P.
Yesterday my dad wanted to talk to me about something, and I said: "Do you want to talk to me about tunnel construction in an obscure geographical area."
He was stunned because that was exactly it. And I knew I was right before he even confirmed it, it just felt right.
Earlier when Alex would use the phrase "psychic powers," I wasn't sure what that meant
There's this thing that has been happening to me for over 10 years. When I turn lights on I know if the lightbulb is going to blow before the light comes on. I'd have this picture spring into my mind in a flash of the light blowing, then a split second later when the switch flicks the light blows.
I found this weird and still do to this day. Though I don't predict a bulb blowing all the time, I'd say about 7/10.
Now being skeptical I think what's happening is the bulb blows but because it's so blazingly fast it takes my mind a moment to register and it seems to me I have a vision of the bulb blowing before my brain interprets the actual bulb blowing. Even though I'm 100% sure in my mind that I saw it happening before it happens.
Sometimes trying to rationalise it doesn't work though. About 3 weeks ago I was going to cook something over the stove. My stove has one of those trays at the top that guards the fan, and you have to pull it out to turn on the light. As I was reaching up to pull out the tray, I saw the bulb blowing in my mind and thought to myself "Hey this bulb hasn't blown in a pretty long t-" then pulled the tray out and the bulb blew.
I saw it happening before I even put a hand on the tray. And you know what I think that was?
Coincidence. I think your psychic experience was too.
