Sorry, the only receipt I received was an email message from acceptiva which of course anyone can make up.
If you donate a small amount (I believe $10 is the minimum), I can tell you what the email looks like and you can verify that you have received something similar. Then you can donate the rest of the $5000 if you feel that is good enough evidence for you.
However, since you do not want to donate to TOSTAN but rather your own choice, I suggest you simply go ahead and donate the $5000 to your choice anyway. The very worst that can happen is that you have donated to a charity that you believe is worthy. Remember this is a charity that you yourself chose and believe deserves the money.
It's not a Christian Charity though, they must do what they do in the name of Jesus, so that when they feed or heal a person, they say Jesus fed them or Healed them. This type of charity is the best because it furthers the body christ, the kingdom of god.

I feel that someone or some event has deeply hurt you in your life and you are lashing out to try and stop the pain. Then by all means, please donate the $5000 to a charity you consider christian, the one you choose. Do you believe this charity, which you yourself chose, deserves your $5000? If so, please donate it. If you believe this charity is not worthy of your $5000, then don't donate the money.
