"I believe I am looking younger too, I am 33 but a few weeks ago I got carded by a casino here because the bouncer thought I looked like I was under 19 (in Canada you have to be 19 or older to gamble). He was really surprised when he saw the age on my driver's license."

I recently received a copy of Kevin Trudeau's "Natural Cures 'they' don't want you to know about" book. I question the presentation somewhat in that he claims to have been in all these secret meetings with various corporations deciding to put additives in food that are bad for us but doesn't say how he got invited to these meetings. Nonetheless, I still believe his opinion of drugs and additives being bad for you and natural foods being good.
I have been on a mostly natural food diet for the past two months. Within the first month I lost 14 pounds and I am not hungry or anything, I am actually eating really well. I have merely changed the foods I eat to incorporate mostly vegetables and fruits. I have been eating natural bread (ie: bread with ingredients like unbleached wheat flour, yeast salt as opposed to the 95% of breads that contain stuff like soy lecithan, amylase, etc.). I have been eating a lot of fruits and vegetables, especially leafy dark green salads with a mixture of apple cider vinigar (with mother) and organic virgin olive oil and oregano and natural goat cheese or natural feta cheese on it. I've been eating soft boiled eggs often too. I am a vegetarian for religious reasons but I will just state that since I haven't been eating meat, I believe organic and natural meat is probably not unhealthy for you though. I have been drinking mainly bottled water (to avoid flouride in our tap water here), green tea and peppermint tea. Often I mix a freshly squeezed lime with bottled water and a bit of natural honey to drink. In my tea and the occasional coffee I have I have been using raw organic sugar or natural honey as a sweetener. I have stopped drinking soda pop and juices with additives and preservatives. I also try to avoid juices with 'glucose/fructose' in it although I have one occasionally (about once a week). I have been trying to eat mainly alkalizing foods which I read some theories on trying to eat about 75-80% alkalizing foods as my diet (most fruits and vegetables) as recommended (http://www.essense-of-life.com/info/foodchart.htm) I'm not making any claims, just doing this myself for fun and seeing what results I get. I do have a theory that the human body has evolved to process natural foods over the hundreds of thousands of years we've been on this planet and that suddenly trying to eat all these foods with chemicals and biological engineering goes against that evolution and causes our bodies problems.
I believe I am looking younger too, I am 33 but a few weeks ago I got carded by a casino here because the bouncer thought I looked like I was under 19 (in Canada you have to be 19 or older to gamble). He was really surprised when he saw the age on my driver's license.
Note, if you decide to try this plan extra shopping I have been to full-size grocery stores where I couldn't find a single loaf of natural bread. If you have international food stores around you they have a lot of the stuff the major chains don't seem to carry (or charge an arm and a leg for if they do).
Anyway, I just thought I'd share,
Kevin
