All races have been slave at one time or another, even within there own race. Strong over weak.

As for how smart the different races are. I feel we are all equal to some point. But it depends on what you are encouraged to do. Or out of need to survive .

Maybe now races have similar intelligence, because we are intermingled and most stupid have been selected. But blacks in africa in ancient times were stupid, and most of them are that now too. So blacks in USA are a kind of super-africans.

Franco, Africa has continual famines etc. where they can't even EAT not to mind engage trade due to difficulties with farming and irrigation. This is due to the extreme conditions and this also leads to bedlam as far as governing is concerned.
With enough money this could be overcome but the environmental factors have always greatly hindered their progression as a society.
Of course, the fact that most Africa's governments are controlled by socialist or communist dictators who horde foreign aide to but new toys for their palaces while preventing businesses who want to make money in their countries from doing has nothing to do with it...
I agree with Franco's theory of slave purchasers wanting the best slaves, however I don't think you can argue that all of the best were enslaved. Someone had to subdue them in order to sell them (unless of course most of Africa was made up of masochists). The best of the rest, sure. But the not the best period. There is also the slight detail of blacks in America living IN AMERICA. If you took a reasonably intelligent person from the civilized world (US, Canada, southeast Asia, western Europe, Oceania) and dropped him in Dirkadirkastan he probably wouldn't fare too well.
