How "the secret" is a scam

I don't know how this thread turned into politics, but originally it was supposed to be how the secret is a scam. It may very well be a scam. However, if you say this just because the writers have a history of bad behavior, then you must also apply this to Kevin Trudeau, who was a serial fraudster, and even Alex Chiu, who was an internet spammer. A better way is to simply show people what they are selling for free. This way people can judge for themselves whether it is of any use or not. If it doesn't work for them, they are not cheated of any money. This is why I applaud Alex for putting his device plans up for free. However, he should do this with his GP/CF recipes as well.

The form of government he is trying to produce is called a Socialist Democracy. Capitalism will remain, but hes trying to get rid of the deficits that the previous administrations left behind, as of now it stands at close to $9.15 trillion, and hes aiming to make the state self-reliant and create a conservative economy. Not wasting the resources if its not necessary (such as imperialist military engagements) and not taking any loans from banks (such as the Chinese). Dr. Paul (USAF flight surgeon, and an OB/GYN) has also positively quoted American socialists in the past for their ideology and he has never voted for anything he stands against, and encourages people to find one bill that contradicts that claim. I don't agree with everything he says, but he is the only honest man out there in the campaign race. Most of his views follow line in what I believe in. Such as being: VERY Pro-First, Second & Fourth Amendment, Against Illegal Immigration and abolishing birthright citizenship, against the Drug War, Supports legalization of marijuana and is very protective of medical marijuana patients, Anti-Trade Agreements (America depending on its self), Pro-Foreign diplomacy (A strong mission of diplomacy with all nations), Anti-NAFTA, and the list goes on and on... But most important of all, hes a constitutionalist.

Yes I agree with you, but I would not say he is socialist, Socialism depends on big government, he wants to cut down government until it almost doesn't exist, only enough to enforce a simple law to maintain order, because he's going to get rid of the IRS and income tax so I don't know how large a government could be under that scenario. To have socialism, you need a big dominating government to distribute the wealth amongst it's citizens, Paul thinks nothing like that. Hillary has called herself a progressive, I think that means progressing towards socialism. Anyway bringing in free health care seems socialist to me. The problem with socialism/communism is people become lazy and wasteful. You have a family of 4 for which the father pays the electricity, the kids keep leaving the fridge door open, the father yells and tells them leaving the door open costs him money so it gets shut again, if electricity was free, people would be leaving lights on everywhere, heaters /airconditioners etc etc, it's the same with free health care, people simply arn't going to look after themselves properly because they will beable get themselves fixed for free under the system, put if people have to pay through the nose like they do under the current system, people become much more responsible with their health. True kamebazooka, but then as the bible says, judge a tree by it's fruit pretty much rings true every time. I think everything Kevin says is made up, he hasn't done any proper research, I think he just searched out wifes tales of medicine herbs on the internet and cut&pasted in a book or on his website, not sure even if his book has anything in it, it just refers to his website which you have to pay. All the people on the secret have a shady past and yes even the chicken soup guy, also the author apparently copied alot of the work from another person. It has been said the secret has never really been an age old secret, it's more like, write a book about how to be rich and successful and you'll be rich and successful by evidence of selling your book. I do admit, one thing that impressed me about alex was how he gave away information on how to make the device yourself which is one reason why he probably believes they do work, that other people will use it and discover it does work unlike the other scam artists out there who would never give their stuff away for free because they would be quickly found out to be bogus.

It is no secret that Alex made a lot of business because he was mentioned in Kevin's book. If you discount everything Kevin says, you must discount Alex as well. Also, the fact that Alex himself believes in it does not automatically make his product good. Hillary and Ron Paul both probably believe in their policy choices, so will you vote for whomever believes in his policy choice the most, regardless of what it is? The important thing is not that Alex believes in it but that he made it free, so you can decide for yourself without paying. If Alex does this for all his products, then I will slow down my pushing for testing and boycotts.

You can only do what you can for people - in your own limited way. I am aware of the plight surrounding people from impoverished nations - but i would not dream of sending any money to them - they would not get it! The money ends up in either bent governmental pockets - or is creamed off along the way by other set ups - designed to give - but do not tell of the amount of costs involved in the giving process! I think it's quite a simple philosophy. Do what you can - when you can. Do not down a person if you can lift him up. And if you don't want to do anything at all - then don't. As long as you leave things alone and don't interfere - then your on the right side of the fence. All souls once they leave their respective flesh bodies - are free - don't believe any different. There is no such thing as hell - well only here in this life. And even then - only in a persons particular head - or circumstance. Once we leave buddy it's brill - it has to be - you are not weighed down by the flesh laws that you have in this life. Don't worry about reading the bible or praying either - it's not a key to the kingdom of heaven. Some of the biggest criminals in mankind have prayed - sung hymns - worshipped the lord.....and butchered millions in the process. If you want to pray - do it on the lavatory seat - if your genuine God will hear you - no matter what. Yes - not every thing you read is true - or contains any kind of wonderful secret - life changing data. But - you can usually get something from it - nothing is wasted in the universe - it's all got some part to play. all the best, Race!
