Has anyone here actually graduated from a university?
Has anyone here actually graduated from an respectable, accredited university? The amount of disinformation that flows on this board is really shocking and frankly laughable.

You can't get a degree in Africa and expect to use it in the US.

I have a Bachelor's of Music (from an American college, so I suppose that it can be used there). What does a degree have to do with anything? Educational institutes are rife with disinformation.

Educational institutes are rife with disinformation. What makes you think so? Actually I think school can be quite informative in many things.

This a forum for chrise sakes of course go to any regular public forum and your likely to find the same thing. I think education is good, but it doesn't mean if somebody has a degree in something makes his words infallible and doesn't mean that someone w/o a degree won't know a lot about a particular subject.

Ivan, I am referring to courses such as history, physics, etc. which have inaccuracies (For example: "Columbus was a hero, and was the first discoverer of the Americas"), as well as indoctrination by educators. Wowchung put it most succinctly; I have met many "educated" idiots, some of them teachers. Seriously! Has Cereal visited other "boards"? Most posts in this forum are reasonable and pale in comparison to other, far more outrageous or shocking forums.

Ok I am very interested in learning these inaccuracies in physics. Can you please mention them?
