Do you now steve irwin, mummify? Not personally, no. It's kinda hard to believe that he is dead. I mean, the guy wrestles croc's and does all sorts of crazy things, and then gets killed by a stingray :( I used to love watching his show, though. It still seems like only yesterday when he first graced our television screens with the Crocodile Hunter. We all thought he was nuts - great, but nutty! Such a shame (shakes head), such a shame....

frank2008- 09-05-2006

Really he is dead? What is a stingray?

mummify- 09-05-2006

So sad, so sad :( When someone told my partner at work yesterday during lunch, he thought it was a joke - until one of his bosses came out and said it as well. I know I was speechless when I saw the article. Here is the link that I read yesterday: Steve Irwin. Stupid, bloody stingray!

Doctors are generally more intelligent than laymen, don't insult optometrical treatments just because you believe in some unproven theories. You even said it yourself, you had surgery. What makes you think that you'd simply get better if you shifted your focus point back? People selling their silly "go crosseyed 10 seconds a day and stare at the sun and you won't need glasses" systems. Eyes are not the same as muscles. This analogy is used far too frequently. Honestly, the brain isn't like a muscle either, it's more like neurological strength, or a skill, both of which are rooted in the brain. The brain and eyes do not grow from being torn down and regrown. They are not broken down and consumed for food during starvation, they are too integral. Damn analogies.

I'm just going by what I have experienced with MY BODY over the past 29 years. REM (Rapid Eye Movement) Left to Right doesn't happen all that often. The specialist I spoke to here, in Perth, told me that no amount of surgery can fix REM like mine. It is something that the person just grows out of. I think he knows what he is on about, he is an Opthamologist, not an Optometrist. I have learned the hard way over the years not to believe everything that doctor's say.

I realize that most of you are Alex fanboys and honestly believe his products work, but you should stop and think about what's going on here. Whenever there's something that doesn't make sense, someone here will ALWAYS generate some half-assed, unconvincing bullshit about how it actually makes perfect sense when anyone with a brain in their head who thinks about it for 0.2 seconds will immediately discover that it's just a giant crock of shit. for fuck's sake, you guys are claiming that alex's pills and rings cure cancer, restructure your faces, fix broken penises, and everything else-- but apparently it's absolutely useless against something as common and as minor as nearsightedness! Unfortunately, everyone here except Dr. Phelps has proven themselves to be braindead fools. What is it about people who buy magical pills off the internet that makes them so gullible and unable to critically reason?

I have never get sick since I take gorgeouspil and I bet it will be so forever.

So, you think optometrists are a bunch of demons purposefully slowly blinding us because they love handing out perscriptions? Sorry, but that's excessively paranoid. They give out new perscriptions because your vision DOES get worse. That's why they do the whole thing with the shifting glasses and staring at the chart. That's why every time I get new glasses, I can see way clearer, and way farther, than before. Yes, the eyes are degenerating, but this has not been linked to wearing glasses at all. No study has shown the correlation.

i'm not a lesbian.. but somehow i enjoy looking at women more then men So do I! Cute/good looking guys, on the other hand, they are seen as a bit of a threat and are normally avoided for fear of rejection. That must explain why women avoid me!

Yeah optometrists or whatever they call themselves are a bunch of demons. They are doing satan's work after all, blinding children with warped pieces of glass and being paid for it by the parents of all people. They get a nice salary for this kind of work. What else are they but demons? They thrive off suffering blind children.

mummify- 09-06-2006

hehehehe! LMAO!! I thought you would be shocked Valeri :) BTW, tyciol, I'm not claiming that Alex's inventions fixed my REM - I have only been wearing the rings for a few months. My REM stopped two years ago on it's own accord (like it was suppossed to, it just took awhile).

I thought you might like to read over this topic, Sierra... It clearly proves that Alex is a psychopath. He also claims to be a witch (seeing as he claimed to cast some bullshit voodoo spells on you). Plus, the fact that he thinks he looks like a white man if he grows a beard proves his mental instability and self-loathing. Your thoughts?

SierraSF- 05-07-2008

I would have to agree with you. How much can one person distort reality? A LOT! What's almost scarier is that people seem to believe him. He also wrote that he gives me money. I might get an average of #5-$10 from him a night.... just to clear that one up. u might be the true genius on here

AlexYCChiu- 05-08-2008

Oh yeah that's true. I do give her $5 to $10 a night. I am very careful with money. Hey I go a lot. You don't expect me to give you lap dance every night do you?
