Gnostic Salvation in the Midrash?
I was browsing the net today, and found this article, which is on a Jewish website, where persons of Jewish faith, talk about Judaism and various other things, sometimes with satirical overtones. To my surprise, the first post gives a quote from the Midrash (Jewish bible) which oddly enough gives a few very overt clues that inextricably tie kundalini yoga to salvation. I then posted a reply near the bottom, which explained some of the details of the implications of the quotes, as they relate to Gnosticism according to the tradition of SAW. It's a very good read if you have the chance. "Our decomposed bodies will be flushed with the “Dew of Resurrection,” a sort of yeast of rebirth. Our bodies will then reform around a bone in the spine called the luz, which is generally considered to be the coccyx. We make time toward Israel to hook up with our souls." In kundalini yoga, the fire of kundalini rises from the base of the spine (in the coccyx). Stubmbling upon this tidbit of traditional Judaism was a real treat for me because it further verifies what I've been discovering this entire time. To further reiterate this, you'll notice some posts from other people talking about how understanding Norse and Zoroastrian traditions is essential to completely grasping the genuine context of apocalyptic literature and why.
