Generally Christian foke are not seduced technology, just wondering why you have a futuristic view when I don't believe the human race will advance much more in technology, they already have said they have hit a brick wall in building smaller and faster cpu's, but the main reason is revelation and that this judgement will most likely befall this generation. I have spoken to drew about this and he is heavily influenced by StarTrek and he believe's it's man's destiny to travel around the universe, I have told him that this is not the case, but like many people, they have been seduced by science fiction that science will create a wonderful exciting technoid future and therefor shun the bible. Your Christian beliefs themselves are shaky, I think it would be wise to remove your current avatar and replace it with a Christian avatar of perhaps a prophet or something else, I have been thinking I might change mine to a different image.More than anything I think it's a good image to express part of my personality. I'm not seduced by technology. In Gnosis, we are taught that modern materialist science is the antichrist (among other things), as implied by St. Augustine as well (if I remember correctly) so I'm not in contention with your attitude toward it. God is not against technology, technology is a good thing. God is against the sin in man, which causes him to profane the use of knowledge, and subsequently abuse the gift of inventing technology. Some, not all, of man's technologies have a perverse quality or two about it, which they either ignore for profit's sake, or don't fully understand the consequences of. Remember I stated that modern science evolved from the real sciencewhich is called alchemy and is a symbological hoax intended to teach a deeper science. This brings up an interesting point, because when we study the Kabbalah, the 6th sephirot of the tree is named: 'Tiphereth'. Usually planetary or astrological symbols are attributed to most of the sephirot on the tree of life. For Tiphereth we can clearly see it's symbols are venus and the sun. Tiphereth (6 in the mind, heart, and sex, see Matthew 22:37) is among other things related to the human soul. Here is an example in the tradition of gemmatria where we see the magick square of the sun. This is really interesting because the fact that the sun's magick square adds up to the notorious number: 666 is very insinuative. Also look under the 'rules' one of which it says: "ego". Leo (ruled by the sun) is known to be usually an arrogant and egotistical astrological sign. What is being said, in the book of Revelation, when talking about the 'mark of the beast' is this: That the nature of the beast is sin, ego, corruption of the soul. The soul is it's mark, because that's where it can be found. 666 is quoted as an identifyer for evil, it is not a number of evil. It is the mark of the beast because Satan uses the symbols of God and perverts them to exalt himself, this is scriptural. Jesus calls himself the 'morning star' in Revelations 22. Jesus tells us in this way that he is the true sun. The sun is not evil, sun-worship was not evil, it was the veneration of the force of christ. Sun worship becomes evil when men pay homage to the perversion of the sun (perversion of the soul, the ego). Exotericly, there was indeed a man named Jesus Christ. Esotericly Christ (the savior) is a force manifest throughout the whole of the universe. The same can be said of antichrist, I think it will be a man, in history. But no doubt it is the evil within all people.
