Both, I want to see who here has biblically sound knowledge. Biblically sound knowledge comes from a pastoral bible scholar who teaches chapter by chapter and verse by verse using a copy of Strong's Concordance. It doesn't get any more sound than that. If you're going to study the bible, you need to be able to research the etimology of the words from their original languages. A working knowledge of the Jewish kabbalah is also helpful. He communicates many metaphorical meanings of the bible, which are ignored by alot of preachers. The book of Genesis describes the transition of man from a spiritual body to a physical one, and speaks to a history of a time which existed before the timeframe of the book of Genesis. (as taught by famous biblical scholars such as pastor Arnold Murray), who broadcast sermons over cable TV. On that website you can view the show as it is broadcast, using windows media player or real player. Order some of his sermons on tape, he hands them out for free. In the books of Samael Aun Weor, we find the explanation that the book of Genesis describes the beginning of this "terrestrial round" (taught by the Hopi Indians), in which the earth exists in the physical dimension, having evolved previously from the etheric and more subtle dimensions of nature. Men have been likewise evolving that way, and the history of Genesis is not the actual beginning of earth's history, only the beginning of existence in this dimension. Upon reaching the time of the book of Genesis it can be said that men were fully developed, but were not yet physical. This is why the bible says "it was grieved of God he made man flesh", men were not yet inhabiting a physical vehicle, only spiritual vehicles. Beyond this, evolution takes place in the soul, from life to life. The soul evolves through the mineral, plant, animal and humanoid kingdom (man). (when you study pastor Murray, keep in mind he speaks at length about the degenerated pagan practices, not realizing they at one time were not degenerated, but taught people according to 1 John 3:9. He does interpret alot of the bible without knowledge of esotericism, but the thorough nature of his knowledge debunks alot of phony fundamentalist bunk.)

Also the choice for the POLL should have been EVOLUTION or CREATION not YES or NO..

DPRK- 10-18-2007

Both.

Natural evolution and spiritual/psychic forces come to play at same time in living beings.

You are supporting false doctrines of faith such as evolution. 1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; You have departed from the faith (If you were ever part of it) and are now spouting doctrines of the devil, evolution is devilish.

You probably doubt the bible scholar, because you doubt the meaning of the text in the original Hebrew, and you don't bother to study beyond what an English-speaking Fundy would teach you. You reject the Jewish tradition of the Kabbalah, and you ignore that Christianity is void without it. Therefore you look at Genesis without understanding and assume all of the mythology there has only a literal context. It's like you said in the other post, how can you teach an animal the truth of God's word? You can't, because they're incapable of recieving it. Even though I've clearly laid out in intrinsic detail the legitimacy of the claims I've made, backed repeatedly by bible scripture.
