However, I also believe that if prayer truly work (not certain they do), the magnitude of a prayer's effects correspond directly with the number of people involved. Our numbers, perhaps, are way too small on a global scale. Maybe if there were a few million of us, our efforts may have had a more noticeable effect.

If you could somehow step outside your mental illness for a moment then you should ask yourself why you are being so persistent in attacking someone that was simply praying for peace.

Because he is "praying for peace" while supporting those who have done most of the killing. A common position in the U.S. is to denounce the policy while supporting the killers on the ground. If you dislike the carnage, then your main culprit and main object of contemptuous abhorrence is the United States military and the United States electorate.
