Cure Curses
I was watching "It's Supernatural" with Sid Ross and he was interviewing a pastor who learn't how to cure curses. People who have been healed of curses report have problems such as their health instantly improve, finances instally improve etc etc. Most people have multiple curses on them, and often alot of curses are generational. That is why often there a Fathers son who drank or abused women will grow up and drink and abuse women because of generation curses. Here is the link and how to cure curses. Also a blessing is an opposite of a curse, you want to get as many blessings as you can. http://www.sidroth.org/site/PageServer?pagename=tv_archives If you go there now it is the 3rd September broadcast. You must learn about curses and get rid of them.

Does science support the existance of curses? Maybe they work due to our belief in them causing a placebo effect and seeing associations where they are not? In the case of no prior knowledge, then general misfortune which would normally be called fate's fault is comfortably placed at the fault of a 'curse' from some person which is easier to hate and give focus to one's life.

Hmmmm, I don't know about curses and what not, but there is a whole section in Dr Phil's Family First called "Your Family Legacy". In a nut-shell, it is about how what you grow up with as a child, you normally reflect those behaviours later on in life when you become an adult. Lets say for instance that you grew up with parents who constantly argued and never resolved their conflicts in a positive manner. Later on in life, when you are older, all you do is argue in order to solve your conflicts - because you never learned how to negotiate. Now, it's not all bad and all is not lost if you grew up with disfunctional parents - you just have to know how to identify these things and how to go about changing them. Also, its about focusing on the positive traits that your parents displayed and how those traits have helped you get along in life. It's all pretty much got to do with mental health and as such should be treated by someone who specialises in the mental health field. Dr Phil's Family First makes for very good reading and I strongly suggest that you read it ATA as it will help you identify (and maybe treat) your own mental problems.

Actually our thought can act on other people. This has been scientifically proven. Sick people who have many people "praying" for them, get well faster. This has been scientifically evaluated. So if people send you bad thoughts wishing you die or get ill, probably you will be affected negatively.

Yes a Christian praying for someone will beable to help them, because christ helps them. If a witch, satanist or evil persons prays to do someone harm, what that is a curse or a hex, a demon will be summoned up and if the person is not christian, the demon can harm or manipulate them, if the person is christian the demon can not harm them because they are protected by the power of Jesus. http://video.google.com.au/videoplay?docid=3553879445882834497&q=prophecy+club&total=149&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1 I learn't alot from that link and is a must watch for everyone.

Actually our thought can act on other people. This has been scientifically proven. Sick people who have many people "praying" for them, get well faster. This has been scientifically evaluated. So if people send you bad thoughts wishing you die or get ill, probably you will be affected negatively. I used to think this was true, but there was a recent study out that contradicted the earlier studies. In fact the patients in the prayer group did slightly worse than the control group. There should be more studies taken to investigate this further. In any case, if you can prove with reasonable certainty the power of prayer on people who do not know they are being prayed for, you can win the randi $1million prize. If people here want to try an experiment, I am going to plant two sunflower seeds. Everyone who wants to participate, pray that sunflower 1 does well and pray against sunflower 2 (i.e, curse sunflower 2). I will assign the names sunflower 1 and sunflower 2 randomly so that even I do not know which is which until experiment is over. Of course, this is just for fun -- in a real experiment, we need to repeat this many times to make sure it is not just chance that the plant that we pray for does better.

 Thats a good one..

Thanks Kamebazooka for that - I wasn't too sure about it all. Anyway, what I was on about was how our upbringing can have a HUGE impact on the way we are as adults and that if we are not careful, we have a very good chance of passing on bad behaviours/traits to our children. Probably a little bit too logical for ATA's liking - afterall, it is all about common-sense (which he ain't got, LOL!!!!) I won't be taking part in the sunflower experiement - I don't believe in curses as such. Sorry!

Makybe, thanks for bringing that up. I do not always agree with Dr. Phil McGraw' approaches but we definately do mimic some of the famiyl behaviours, though I do believe iti s possible to free yourself from those habits. Franco, every study I've read on prayer affecting things has been very subtle, inconsistant, inconclusive, or flawed. Realistically there's no reason to think it would work. While thought patterns do indeed affect quantum changes, there's no reason to think we would be able to properly create a consistant quantum pattern able to exit the skull and affect anything major, especially when we do not directly interact with the subjects of our thoughts. There have been studies showing no effect from prayer as well. ATA: So christians can summon demons without worry? I am wondering, if I am not a christian can I still get him to help out?
