Well all I know is that when my kid was crippled the Shriners offered to help him for free no matter what he needed. No church in the area did that. You should not be posting stuff about good people and the Shriners are good people. They help all kinds of handicapped kids that need surgery and all kinds of stuff. I don't see the christians with free hospitals for crippled children.

But how do you know ?
Christians seem to think there is a single God who made everything during a one time event in the past. But actually there are many gods who are always in the act of creation. Those gods are us. We live within a framework of our own thoughts and beliefs. The Christian construct is just one you may chose to live in. Or you may have been brought up within its walls, and chose never to leave. After a while the walls you grow up in become a prison. Eventually you'll have to step out of it.

But how do you know ?
Because anyone who is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing), and omnipresent (all seeing) has everything he wants already. He doesn't need a goddamn thing from you. Besides, I know of many people who are more mature and less of a prick than this "god." I don't believe in Gods who act like bratty 5 year old children. I have higher standards than that.
