I am actually excited to see what corey maggete can bring to the tables of golden state. I mean, baron wanted out, I think he made a bad decision, yes he did it for money. But without elton and maggete, the clippers have gotten worse. But anyways, lets face it, monta ellis is the future of the golden state warriors. The more baron plays, the less monta will develop. Baron is 29, but with his injury risk is more like 38. The think I like about corey maggete is that there is no clear cut answer who the best player on the warriors is. You have jackson, maggete, and ellis. I also think he will fit in better than baron because baron always had a chip on his shoulder. Corey maggete is a great leader though and I think he will develop into a leader with golden state, much like jackson did. Baron is kinda cocky. Also, maggete scored more than baron last year, shot better pct. shot better threes and free throws. I actually think he is better than baron. Monta ellis is the future guard. The lineup will be Monta at pg, maggete at shooting guard, jackson and harrington at forward and bedrins at center. Nelly said he is going to play brandon wright and belleneli more. The future warriors lineup i think is monta at guard, belleneli at guard, randolph and wright at forward and bedrins at center. Getting petrus out is good cuz wright can play more as well as randolph and belleneli.
