Convincing your friends to wear the rings and live forever Is it possible? Each time I tried they dind't seem to take it seriously enough.
Any advice is appreciated.

Some are, but most are pretty average people. I fear about estranging them, so I have not told any new friends about it in the last years (with one exception).
What is your experience with the rings or "immortalism" in general?
ivan4iai- 08-28-2007
Of course, they don't take it seriously you're telling them it causes immortality.
Tell them something like, it enhances the healing process.
You should have a bit more luck that way.
Also, the rings probably don't cause immortality anyways.

They don't make you immortal. Thats the only way Alex can somewhat successfully push his product, otherwise it would be nothing more than your average magnetic therapy ring that you see in shopping catalogs.
Now, do they enhance the healing process as ivan4iai said? I would say so. I have noticed from my own personal experience that a couple of old scars that I have turned a raw pink color and are started to shrink and fade.
Though I must admit, I have stopped using the rings.

and why have you stopped wearing them ?
Jaguar b. p.- 08-28-2007
Some are doctrinally opposed to immortality, so it's not a matter of pursuading them with facts, they are against it on a religious level, so they are cursed.

and why have you stopped wearing them ?
Because they have gotten to be uncomfortable to wear.

Well, I too wouldn't believe that simply using the rings confers you immortality. Still, I think they give you a good kick into it. ;-)
What I am meaning by "immortality" here is actually "negligible senescence" (and to some extent, anti-aging).

Um...really? What is making them so uncomfortable?
wowchung- 08-28-2007
just tell them it makes you feel good, or energized and to just try it one night.

Make rings yourself and give them to them as gifts. Tell them they are just decorative, and let them see for themselves if it helps them. This way, if it works for them, they will be convinced it truly works, because you did not prompt them with any expectations. And if it doesn't work for them, they will not feel cheated.

I don't know. I just have difficulty getting to sleep wearing them (not due to its energies but more due to the form factor and how I sleep (on my stomach).

I think it's a nice idea actually, but my designs are not pretty or so easy to wear for beginners. Thought the rings alex was selling to be comfortable, but apparently they are not for everybody.
Even if they were pretty they would not be motivated to wear them often. And unfortunately, I think that simply wearing the rings doesn't give permanent youth, thought the aging process appears to be reversed initially and much slower afterwards.
Another thing to consider is that people often don't want to give up habits (e.g. overeating) that cause them chronic degenerative diseases, and these are very prevalent nowadays. :?

Yep, that is a problem too... though with the people I know it seems more about being open minded to the possibility that physical youth can be prolonged indefinitely. So I guess they are cursed, and I am doomed to continue see them age  . Well, the majority of them, at least.
