No actually franco never begged. he asked once. I saw that and discussed it with the moderation board. We agreed that based on franco's longevity on the forum and his dedication to Alex and immortality he was deserving of the position. So we gave it to him. And as far as Alex goes. He had cut back on posting before the official change in administration took place. And there was no hostile takeover. There was an unwarranted hostile attack on SacJB, myself and in fact Alex. We simply responded with appropriate action. Power was not "taken". It was transfered. If it was "taken" we would have had to in some way break into the forum. We did not. Power was given to us. Handed to us. Once we had power we simply used the power given to us. This was an issue of self preservation. Nothing more or less. To remain on the forum and be free to post what we wanted required what we did. It was simply responsive logic.
