Cautionary Note
If you decide to make your own ring, do not use metals of any kind. There are a high percentage of people who have allergic reaction to metals on the skin, even on finger. I did experiment on using some metallic pieces for my ring and at the time did not realize it would cause me to have rash. I have had rash for years now, and did not realize it was by wearing metallic ring. I guess gold would be ok. Unoforunately I did not use gold. I use plumbing materials from home depot. So in a way, the immortality ring did give me herpe.

Update
I get the same rash when I wear the plastic rings too. It seems like the rings have some action on the body but is not full understood because I got positive results in the first few years. Now after some use of them I get these allergic type reactions. Maybe some people are allergic to being immortal.
