It is so much easier to do as if there is a draw, extra time is played. I have come across some really doozies and have even gotten a few wrong, which happens. U Line (Golden State): Rm is empty in day c-X and nothing is striking to activate it. I have gone with Phoenix due to Golden State being empty and also because of the 6 match. I think at half time, though, Golden State will be in front (maybe, it just depends on how powerful that 6 strike is - if Golden State are in front, I don't think they will be in front by much). What is 6 strike and 6 match ? How to identify this in an Hexagram? Thanks Leonor

Hey Leonor, When you ask a question and throw the coins, you are given a set of lines that you then put into a hexagram generator. It is these lines that determine if there is a 6 match or a 6 strike. With NBA (and other sports), what I have noticed is that getting a 6 match or a 6 strike can make interpretating the meaning alot easier. I'll use the above game between Pheonix and Golden State as an example: Code: Year: t, Month: m, Day: c-X, Empty: y & m Quen - 2 Trapped - 47 K yo - - J B wa - - wht G h X K yo - gry B c X G h - yel R m - - U P w - - red P e X B cn - grn B wa - - R y - - blk 6 Strike 6 Match At first, it all looks pretty bad for Pheonix - they have a 6 Strike that can't be broken. However, at closer inspection, Day c is striking at the Bwa in the 2nd, making it active. This is because B produces K - the Bwa has been struck by the day, helping produce the Kyo in the 1st hexagram. There is also a link between the Kyo on the J line and the Kyo in the 2nd hexagram on line 5. Because K produces G, this may have helped Pheonix win in the end. When I do these questions regarding the NBA, I only have a short amount of time between throwing the coins and when the games start. This is because of the time difference between Australia and the US. So, when it came to this game, there was one thing that was really stuck out and that was that Golden State were empty in the day and nothing was striking it. Which is why I went with Pheonix - I really wish that I had the betting option of the half-time/full-time result as I would have put a bet on Golden State/Pheonix result for sure :lol: Cheers! MD

MD, thanks for your extensive explanation and I wish I could understand. I have some time working with Iching but when I cast an Hexagram I obtain moving or unchanging lines (6,7, 8 and 9). I do not know what means strike not match in terms of Iching (my native language is Spanish), now know how to obtain letters of the Hexagrams. I like very much your method but I do not know how you work it ?. How do you take in consideration the days you mention? I am in the same position before my first question. Last saturday April 19, 2008 in Caracas Venezuela I consulted the Iching for the probability of a situation in my life. I got the Hexagram 30 unchanging. I wanted to apply your method but I do not know how. Any way, congratulations on the precision of your predictions !

Leonor, Super I Ching is different to I Ching in that it will give a more precise answer. I haven't studied I Ching as such - I do have books on it however since getting Alex's book (which took a while to arrive), I have mainly been concentrating on that. Howdy Ho! I have done something a little different today. Instead of asking if the home side will defeat the away side, I have asked if I should bet on the home side to defeat the away side. Sounds the same but it's not - the new way of asking means that the appointed is the G star, nothing else (whereas before, anything could have been the appointed - a G, P, B or R). Today was mainly a '-*test*-('")' to see if it would work as I really want to apply this to my AFL questions - I am yet to score a good win in the AFL and I keep on averaging 6 out of 8 (which is great, I just want to be 100% accurate :wink: ). Once you have completed that part, just pop on over to the hexagram generator and post the result in a new thread. When you do ask the questions and put the results into the hexagram generator, I'm pretty sure you don't have to worry about changing the date to Beijing time (Xiao, please correct me if I'm wrong :wink: ).
