Thankyou... for correcting me.
I remember now. I had a long thing of magnets, about 10. I was checking polarity with it, not realizing that every time I removed one magnet, the polarity was different. I had forgotten the removal step, and assumed the polarity didn't change.
you can't increase the gauss rate piling up magnets, if that would be possibile with tiny magnets piled up you could lift a car, obviously this isn't possibile.
You are confusing gauss with 'lifting power' , gauss is a term used to compute the lines of flux for a magnetic surface.
the strength of the magnet can be 'powered up' stacking magnets only because the flus lines get longer, but there is a limit.
you can' pile up 100 magnets and lift a ton of iron, not even with Nidb.
About the polarity, i have around 400 magnets in my house and i did every kind of experiment.
If you get near two magnet with different gauss, the weakest changes its polarity, its like turning a glove outside out .
you can try with a ceramic magnet and a nidb.
just for understanding, gauss is like the flow in a tube, if you add tubes one after another you don't increase the amout of water flowing, you get the tube longer.
You need to increase the diameter of the tube, that's to say use a different kind of magnetic material.
Anyway if you pile up identical magnets you have more magnetic power and same polarity. You can check with a compass. If you pile up magnets, compass will move at longer distance from magnets.
Stacking reverses the polarity with each stack. South turns into north when you add a magnet. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I had one hhheck of a time checking polarity a while back. Then I finally figured out that every time I removed a magnet from my stack, the polarity would be different.
I have a stack of magnets and I just checked this. I split the stack in half. Then removed one magnet from one stack and it still attracted the other stack and did not repel it. So it seems to not affect the polarity.
If anyone knows different speak up about it
You are right, polarity doesn't change piling up magnets. It's just like you build a larger magnet.
So what did you buy and how many did you stack franco got any pics?
I piled up 2 of these inside each ring (after got of ferrite magnets):

so you took magnets out of your neo rings to hold these?Do they still feel comfortable?
I took out magnets from ferrite rings.
They still feel comfortable, just they enlarge a bit the plastic environment.
you can also just attach them upon the rings, without taking out the ferrite magnets.
wouldn't they move around if your asleep?you can fit 2 of these in the plastic fitting?
They fit ok, don't move. Put them inside and glue them. The plastic fitting will be a bit deformed but not very much.
