Sacjb, it's important you figure out the revenue and expenses somewhat close to what they are, otherwise you're going to make alex look worse than he is.
Also, if you want to be a good businessman, you should keep track of these things anyway. I'm surprised alex would not teach you this.
Let's say that the average reseller generates $10,000 in sales a month of which alex keeps roughly $5000.
If alex has 10 resellers working for him, he's pulling in 50k a month easy. Let's say all expenses combined is roughly half, so that's still 25k a month. That's 300k a year just from resellers.
I don't think things are at that level. But I do think that Alex needs to be very careful and not spend money. He would also be wise to in some way expand his income to include other products. You see as I have said I am familiar with the FDA. And they could come after Alex tomorrow. And he is not going to win. He will have to stop making his claims and his business is built on them. When will this happen? Who knows. The FDA is not predictable.
But I do not think Ales is pulling that from his re sellers...

any way you slice it, alex makes more money off you than you do.
here's another way to compare sacjb's 'wage':
10 minutes a day x 5 days a week x 52 weeks /year x 5/3 year (20 months) = about 72 hours
profit is less than zero.
If you worked the same time at a job flipping burgers, you'd have made at least 72 x $5 = $360.
Frankly sacjb, i think it is more profitable and ethical for you to sell marijuana. I think there is even a somewhat legal way to do this in california.

Sacjb are you selling the rings because you believe in them, or just the money. And do you only sell the rings?
