My mention of historical significance was meant more toward inventions that have dramatically altered the way people conduct their lives or improve opportunities for personal advancement. While pyramids might be nice to look at, they don't do much to improve society as a whole or offer personal growth. I fail too see how I could have an Anglocentric world view brought on by education in western schools when I earned both of my undergraduate degrees from Tokyo University and my masters from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Those damn American schools, coloring my worldview. If westerners destroyed all evidence of civilization, as the rapist claims, then how did India's and China's massive amounts of history and literature escape British wrath? Especially India. They owned that place and could razed the whole place if they wanted. Imperialism has even proven to GOOD for some cultures. You can't tell me that Hong Kong was better off before the British took over. They miss England. They'll even tell you if you ask in places where the Chicoms can't hear. Great book recommendations too. Tao te Jing, Romance of Three Kingdoms, Go Rin no Sho, The Prince, Thus Spake Zarathustra, The Wealth of Nations and Free to Choose are all good places to start, and are widely available in English, French, Japanese and just about any other language worth learning.

For example, many Vietnamese have French blood, so they should be pushed up above Japanese/Chinese right?

If you put jewish you have to put what kind since there are many different kinds: polish, german, arabic, eithiopian, even chinese. Same with asians or even just chinese: china is a big country yet you put them all in one category but you separate germans and italians even though they are in a much smaller space. and no one yet ranks irish which used to be thought as same level as blacks. BTW as long as franco and alex posts their rankings, I wonder what any black users of alex products think of it. how do you guys rank the races?

jewish I mean yiddish, german - russian jewish. Anyway all jewish are relatives irish are like french germans and italians are different, most in south Italy. Germans and Italians never marry or make children between, so we are different races. chinese are all same race, all fast thought, meek and intelligent. japanese are very similar: a bit slower but also a bit stronger and deeper thought.

Not even behind closed doors...franco is just being ignorant again. The influence of Italian intebreeding with southern Germans is marked - you can see Italian influence in Munich's architecture and the Bavarian dialect....there must have been interbreeding.

No, interbreeding between germans and italians happened more than 1000 years ago, when germanic barbarians came down to invade Italy. This is why you can see a lot of germanic-like people in north Italy (and this is the reason why north italy is more rich, more industrial, more organized, less mafia..more like germany; south Italy is a mess, full of mafia and camorra and dirty) But south italians are different from germans, and north italians evolved apart from germans in last 1 thousand years.

Huh so why don't you separate italians into neopolitan and sicilian? You guys seem to think a lot about this stuff but you get really lazy when it comes to making proper lists.

And this is going from many generations now ,apart from cultural and architectonic influences, people living on the borderline in switzeralnd or in germany are often bilingual (italian and german )
