How do scientists know the diameter of earth? Must a scientist walk the equator in order to tell you the exact diameter of earth? How do scientists figure out how far is the sun from earth? Must a man fly to the sun in order to measure the exact distance? I don't have to live 130 years in order to tell you what my device does.
