Jophom: prejudice isn't necessarily a bad thing, as long as it isn't ignorant or absolute. Stereotypes can often be founded on ignorance or misinformation, but sometimes they're founded in fact. For example, blacks may not commit crime because of their genes, but because of their culture of rage which is fuelled by our discrimination against them, but that doesn't make them any less criminal. While I'm not going to hate them all, I'm also going to watch my wallet more, and if he gets pissed off by that and decides to steal it for spite, then I'll get revenge.
