Let's leave the photos aside for one moment, we can come back to them. I'm interested in your opinions on the videos. Here are my opinions. I have no experience in touching up videos or anything so these are just my thoughts.

This one is a completely static UFO. Presuming it's not superimposed on the video in post-processing, it's right in front of a tree. You could stick a cardboard cutout on a pole or whatever onto a branch to get this video.

Look at the way this UFO moves. Does it remind you of something dangling from a string?

This one is relatively static too but it has some rocking motion. To me this looks like something on a string dangled in front of a light and casting a shadow onto a blank surface.

A continuation of the last one. This one is a touch more convincing because it has little lights and specular highlights at times. I'd say that's post-processing or some trick which I can't think of.
These 4 videos were taken from 1975 to 1981. Star Wars was released in 1977. Now that may seem like something silly to mention, because Star Wars had a very large budget and incredibly skilled people working on it, but Star Wars also had spectacular special effects and was lengthy. These videos are neither spectacular nor lengthy and I firmly believe one or a few person(s) with some intermediate tools and knowledge could produce these back in that time frame.
